Crisis: Israel

Believers in Jesus around the world are often shocked to discover that in Israel, where the Gospel began, the light of the Gospel is very dim.
Official stats say only 2.1% of Israel’s population are Christians.
Jewish people born and raised near communities like Capernaum, Galilee and Jerusalem often have no idea that those places are associated with Jesus Christ.
In a region marked by an ever deepening crisis and conflict, the only hope for peace is found in Him Who is the Prince of Peace. Just like Abraham’s two feuding sons Ishmael and Isaac, reunited at the grave of their father Abraham, there is now another reconciliation and peace, this time through what happened at the empty tomb of Jesus Christ.
At the time of writing this letter, yet another conflict has arisen in Israel, which is all over the news. The crisis is huge.
Among the Arab Israeli population the number of believers has been steadily dwindling until the church has become almost extinct. While hundreds of thousands of Christian tourists flock to Israel to see the holy sites, the people at large remain untouched by the Gospel.
The Bible tells us to “pray for the peace of Israel” (Ps 122:6). But there is no peace outside of Yeshua. The solution for Israel is the Gospel of the Prince of Peace – Yeshua!

The Lord told Saul of Tarsus to bear the name of Jesus before gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. That mandate is still for us today. While many Christian ministries are interested in the land of Israel, Way of Peace reaches the people of Israel with the Gospel. From the north of Israel to the south, east to west, all of Israel shall be saved!
Way of Peace Ministries advances the Gospel in Israel, lifting up the hands of Jewish and Arab pastors and evangelists who are giving their lives for the great cause of Jesus. Way of Peace Ministries is empowering the peacemakers in Israel.
Way of Peace is involved in church planting, Gospel book stores, showing the Jesus film, drug rehabilitation centers and a host of other outreaches.
